Tax and Accounting for Small Business and Real Estate
My name is Anthony Sartor, and I’m the founder of RDU Tax LLC. I have over twenty years of experience as a CPA, specializing in the tax and accounting needs of small service-based businesses and real estate investors.
Over the course of my career, I’ve learned that building strong relationships is essential for long-term success. Listening carefully and maintaining clear communication with my clients has become the cornerstone of my practice.
The Raleigh–Durham area has experienced tremendous growth in both service businesses and real estate, yet there’s a shortage of experienced CPAs who truly understand the unique challenges these businesses face. I created RDU Tax LLC to fill that gap, offering clear, dependable guidance to help local businesses thrive.
As a sole practitioner, I work directly with each client, ensuring personal attention, responsiveness, and practical solutions. My mission is simple: to provide reliable tax and accounting support that helps small businesses and real estate owners succeed for the long term.

As a full-service accounting firm, I can assist at every stage of your business. This includes forming the business, establishing a bookkeeping system, providing financial analysis, preparing and filing tax returns, and offering strategic planning for the future. My goal is to help you build a strong financial foundation so your business can grow with confidence.
I view my role as more than just a CPA—I’m a partner in your success. Your goals become my goals, and I work closely with you to ensure your business has the structure, insight, and guidance it needs to thrive long-term.
How it Works
Give me a call so we can discuss your situation and determine whether I am the right fit for your needs. If it makes sense to move forward, we will schedule a formal meeting, which can take place at my office, by phone, or through video conference. During that meeting, you can explain your specific needs, I will ask targeted questions to gain a clear understanding of your situation, and together we will develop a plan to achieve your goals.
I will provide you with an engagement letter and confidentiality agreement that outline the scope of work and confirm that your sensitive information will be safeguarded in accordance with IRS and industry standards. As part of this process, I will request prior tax returns and financial records to review past filings, assess reporting accuracy, and provide guidance for current tax and accounting services.
Once the work is complete, I will present the finished product for your review. Any necessary changes will be made, and once you are satisfied, I will electronically file the return on your behalf with the IRS and state. If any issues arise, I can provide audit support as needed. We will also discuss future tax planning to set you up for the upcoming year. Should you have any questions or concerns throughout the year, you are always welcome to contact me by phone or email.
